Commiting sins upon sins

We all commit sins today
Sins of great magnitude
Though little we think it is
A result awaits it tomorrow.

For Sins we commit intentionally
We blame the Shaytaans for it
Bringing excuses to ourselves
Though our heart could say better.

We ask for Allah's forgiveness now
For he is the most forgiving creator
Afterward we commit same sin again
Giving unreasonable excuses for it.

Our pleasure we strive to satisfy
But Allah's mercy we neglected
Commiting sins of great status
Had we forgotten he is our Lord
Who deserves to be feared all day.

Oh my brother!!!  Repent with Sincerity
Do thy not know Allah can't be decieved
Do thy think you would repent at old age
Remeber your tomorrow isn't guaranteed
Repent sincerely for today won't be back.

Ola-Gbadamosi Ridwan Oladotun, LASU Best Graduating Student Speaks

LAGOS—best graduating student at the faculty of Engineering, Lagos State University, in the 2017/18 academic year, Ola-Gbadamosi Ridwan Oladotun, yesterday, told a courageous story of how he had to do menial jobs to educate himself. Oladotun, at the 23rd convocation ceremony of LASU in Ojo campus, held the audience spell bound with his story of breeding chickens before attending classes just to gather enough money for books and school fees. The 22-year old Mechanical Engineering graduate, who made a cumulative grade point average, CGPA of 4.88 to emerge overall best graduating student, said in his valedictory speech that he was determined to succeed and therefore did not mind what he had to go through. Oladotun, who disclosed that he lost his mother at age 12, expressed happiness that his achievement has wiped off all his hardship in school.
